Information Security Specialist
Location: Remote
Salary: $120-180k
Sabot Consulting is seeking a qualified Information Security Specialist to assist in the interpretations of information security policies, standards, & other requirements as they relate to internal information systems.  The Infosec Specialist will provide highly specialized experience in one or more information, computer, or network security disciplines. This role requires knowledge & understanding of how to develop system security plans, conduct certifications, and accreditation reviews.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates the implementation of security requirements to ensure a safe technical environment.
  • Penetration testing & accreditation.
  • Risk assessment, scoring & mitigation.
  • Develop system security plans within COBIT & NIST guidelines.
  • Assess, mitigate, and triage system security threats and risks.
  • Perform regular security audits, evaluations, & make strategic recommendations
  • Manages, supports, installs, & maintains security tools & systems.
  • Tracks security incidents and patches.

Must Have:
  • 5 years of FTE experience applying security policies & standards.
  • 5 years of FTE experience performing system testing, system modification, & implementation.
  • 3 years of experience conducting information security analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University in an IT related or Engineering field
  • 5 years of FTE experience as a Senior Manager Responsible for Infosec technology Management.
Nice to Have:
  • 5 years of FTE experience working with application teams designing & implementing solutions with security architectures.
  • 5 years of FTE experience designing solutions that enforce security best practices on cybersecurity risks & Cloud security.
  •  5 years of FTE experience on one project Profiling data using SQL, any ETL tools, OR DBMS.
