Sabot Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Senior Business Analyst to lead quality assurance efforts related to business analysis and process improvement within Medicaid and healthcare IT systems. This role is responsible for evaluating contractor deliverables, ensuring traceability of requirements, and supporting testing and training initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in business process modeling, requirements management, and quality assurance methodologies.

Sabot Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Senior Business Analyst to lead quality assurance efforts related to business analysis and process improvement within Medicaid and healthcare IT systems. This role is responsible for evaluating contractor deliverables, ensuring traceability of requirements, and supporting testing and training initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in business process modeling, requirements management, and quality assurance methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Establish QA standards, frameworks, and procedures for business analysis and process improvement.
- Review contractor-submitted SDLC deliverables (e.g., RSDs, BRDs, FRDs) for business alignment and provide constructive feedback.
- Evaluate deliverables for adherence to contractual and functional requirements.
- Report quality metrics on contractor-submitted artifacts.
- Ensure bi-directional traceability of requirements to releases and deliverables.
- Verify that testing strategies, use cases, and test results meet business and system requirements.
- Conduct independent functional and user acceptance testing.
- Identify and report risks and issues, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Assess and recommend improvements to user and developer training plans.
- Oversee and support disaster recovery (DR) testing efforts and evaluate results.
Must Have:
- 8+ years in IT business analysis, testing, project management, or QA services.
- 5+ years managing requirements.
- 5+ years preparing business process design documentation using BPMN 2.0, swim lane diagrams, and process flows.
- 5+ years working with teams of 5 or more staff.
- 5+ years working with business process models and/or use cases.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Nice To Have:
- PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), or equivalent/higher certification.
- Certifications and experience with process improvement techniques such as Lean Six Sigma, Agile, PDCA cycles, and Kanban.
- 2 years of experience in a healthcare or insurance domain.
